Anne Qu

We worked with Anne to purchase our first home back in Nov 2015. She is so knowledgeable that it was a highly educational process for me and my wife. She would tell us what each school is like in the area, rather than just show us those cold rating numbers. That was super helpful for us because we were expecting our son. She also educated me on tremendous details on issues/problems first time homeowners encounter. Buying a house, spending so much money and taking on a big loan is a scary process. Anne was super patient and took us through the process smoothly. I later recommended her service to my friend and he was super happy with her too.

I am so happy to have Ms. Anne Qu as our agent. As first-time home-buyers, my husband and I were inexperienced with the process, but Anne was a great and patient help throughout. She worked with us through the negotiation process and was even able to assist us with the home loan process. We also really appreciated the insight she offered when we toured houses. Anne is very knowledgeable! She would point out both good and bad things of the houses and provide many professional recommendation for us. We highly recommend Anne to anyone who is considering to buy or sell a house!

She is very patient to help me find satisfied house. Because I had too many ideas about the house bought,so It almost took 5 months for us to visit more than 20 houses,and finally found my favourite house.

My roommates and I are moving to the Tysons Corner area. We contacted Ms. Qu regarding a property she had listed. While explaining that we are 4 young male individuals relocating to the area to work at a large accounting firm, she tried to make excuses for renting to us blatantly stating that she would feel uncomfortable renting to us since we are young men who obviously can’t handle our money. We offered to provide our credit scores and proof of employment, as well as exactly the amount that the listing advertised. Instead she suggested that since there were 4 of us (in this 4 bed 4 bath house) maybe we could pay more rent to make up for that. She then tried to increase monthly rent as well as require twice the amount of security deposit that was in the original listing and would be required of any other tenant. This is completely unethical and based on the Federal Fair Housing Act of 1968 which states that landlords cannot discriminate based on any protected category including age and sex. It also states that a landlord may not: -advertise or make any statement that indicates a limitation or preference based on race, religion, or any other protected category -falsely deny that a rental unit is available -set more restrictive standards for selecting tenants or refuse to rent to members of certain groups -before or during the tenancy, set different terms, conditions, or privileges for rental of a dwelling unit, such as requiring larger deposits of some tenants or adopting an inconsistent policy of responding to late rent payments We were insulted by her treatment and would not recommend that anyone do business with her. We were easily able to find multiple other locations which were represented by individuals who were respectful and accommodating. We had no issue with any other individual besides Ms. Qu.
