She also proved to be very flexible with a lot of people who weren't. She was superbly diplomatic. She maintained communication, always answering her phone, and never once did I hear an answering machine. Her open houses were delightfully commented upon by my visiting (and nosy) neighbors. She was concerned about people and about honesty.
