When my wife and I were selling our home of 35 years, we interviewed several realtors to guide us through the process. They were all great in their own way, but Amy really was perfect for us. I was initially impressed by her decades of experience, knowledge of the area, out-of-the-park statistics, and awards. But what really won us over was her no-nonsense, upfront attitude, her enthusiasm, her sense of humor and her honesty. “I will always tell you the truth, even if it’s not something you want to hear.” And it was that sense of trust in her that eased us through one of the most challenging things we have ever done — selling our first home. She was in our corner every step of the journey, always available, always willing to step in and offer advice or take on a task. She worked so hard for us, giving us guidance on how to best prepare our home before we left it, then managing repairs, improvements, and cleaning for us once we were out of the area. It gave us such a welcome sense of relief to know that she was taking care of things, and there wasn’t one thing she dropped the ball on or overlooked. In such good hands, we were able to just focus on moving to our new home in Washington.
