After working in real estate for the past 8 years, I have met many realtors in my life. Regardless of state borders, what I am usually faced with in a Realtor is unprofessionalism, impatience, and money-driven without your rights as a seller/buyer in mind. Meeting Amy was like finally being able to breathe after being suffocated for so long. We live in the Chicagoland area and needed an agent for our deceased mother’s home in Naples. After doing research (and not receiving calls back from other active agents in the area), we luckily found Amy. We also really appreciated her professional marketing photos (so much better than other agents using their iPhones). To make a long story short, after receiving multiple offers, we happily accepted a contract above the asking price. Unfortunately, disaster then struck - there ended up being an error the Title company made back in 2005 when our mother originally closed on the home. What should have been a 3 week period before closing ended up taking over 3 months. Amy was wonderful helping us contacting the Title company, recommending an attorney to hire and working with her contacts in the industry to get this corrected. Then came the hurricane! Amy promptly went to the property for us, took pictures of the landscaping damage and made landscaper recommendations. Throughout the entire process, Amy was always quick to respond, proactive and professional while also keeping our stress levels controlled. We finally closed on the property solely because of Amy's efforts. We sincerely don’t think another agent would have the knowledge and expertise to have helped and stuck with us throughout the entire process. To summarize - we realize our transaction was the worst case scenario. We feel if Amy was able to successfully help with this nightmare situation, we are fully confident that if you’re in the market, hiring Amy is not only the right decision but the best decision you will make.
