This was the second time I was selling my home. The first time with another realtor was very stressful. Needless to say I was anxious about selling my second home. Amber was so friendly putting me to ease about the whole process. She answered all my questions promptly and even helped with putting me in touch with a wonderful woman, Stacy Goodwill who staged my condo and gave me a recommendation on movers, OneOld Man and a Van that got the job done at the best price. Amber actually helped hold my dog during when the photographer was taking photos for the listing! She knew exactly what selling price to list my condo, stragetically put out a teaser "Coming Soon" listing on MLS and the day it was ready I had back to back showings and a contract offer $5000 over selling price by end of day. There were a couple requests from the buyers and she helped me through each request.I really can't say enough about how she takes care of her clients and really made the whole selling experience 180 degrees better than my first experience. I "met" Amber on a message board way back in 2003 when we were researching the Columbus area trying to find the right part of town for our family to relocate. Amber was kind, knowledgeable and helpful even though we were planning on renting initially until we learned the lay of the land and would eventually go about purchasing our first home. For the next 12 years, Amber would check in periodically, not pressuring, just checking in to see where we were in the process. We'd been through some rough financial times in the past and weren't confident that we'd even be able to buy a house. Amber helped us see that it really was possible! Not only did she hold our hand through the financial learning process but also guided us to and away from homes that would be good for us. All with NO pressure at any time. She was always available to answer questions, no matter the time of day or day of the week. And if she wasn't able to reply in full at that instant, she'd reply and let us know she'd get back to us. We bought our first house in March of 2017 and loved it. The whole process was MUCH easier and much more possible that we ever thought. We loved our time in the house and Amber was still there whenever we had a question or needed a recommendation for a contractor or service. When we were offered a job out of state this past spring, there was no question who we'd be working with to sell our home. Amber of course! Once again she was patient, guiding us through the whole thing, even putting up with hoops our relocation company made us jump through. My only regret about selling our home is that we moved out of Ohio and out of Amber's area of expertise. No worries, really. Amber is our friend AND our former realtor. I know should we ever have any real estate questions or needs that we'll reach out to her first! You should too!
