My boyfriend and I are first time homebuyers and we had no idea what we were doing or how to go about buying a house. We looked through the list of agents on Remax and we saw Amanda’s picture and her introduction about herself. She looked very welcoming, she’s been in this field for a while so we sent her a message! She was very quick to respond to our email and quick to get something set up for us to meet in person which we greatly appreciated. She was very understanding that we were very nervous about the idea of spending our life savings on a house and helped us come up with the best plan to not completely deplete our savings. When it came to setting up a day and time to go look at a house, she was very flexible with her schedule and doing her absolute best to work around our schedule (my boyfriend and I work long hours and normally opposite shifts) We had her driving all over god’s creation to look at houses, which we felt so guilty for having her do so when the houses were quickly decided that they were not the one! Amanda was able to answer any questions we had able to find those answers if she didn’t know them off the top of her head. She gave us some really good tips on what to really pay attention to when we looked at houses and if we weren’t sure if we wanted to make offers or not, she gave us her “motherly” thoughts which we greatly appreciated since our own parents couldn’t make it to majority of the house showings. Amanda was an absolute blast to work with and we appreciate her very much!
