I have a passion for seeing the dreams of others become a reality. I am a member of North Webster Church of God and the National Association of Realtors.
In addition to helping community members find the right home, I am passionate about giving back to my community. Prior to moving to Lake Papakeechie, I owned a farm with my husband, Stacy Hammel. We had many animals and ran a non-profit petting zoo.
We often dressed as Shrek and Fiona with our donkey and traveled with our animals to events such as Camp What You Wanna Do, a camp for children with cancer and survivors, Harmony Home, Boomerang Backpacks in Whitley County, Whitley County Harvest Event and more.
I have served as a coach in track for Whitko Schools, Cross Country for Dekalb and Columbia City schools.
I have volunteered on the Ligonier Marshmallow Festival committee, served as a board member for the Whitley County 4H Cat club, served as the Papakeechie Association President, and more. I enjoy running, painting, flower gardening, all things lake and donating crafts items to raise funds.
I currently teach at Wawasee Middle School and coach track.
