I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Alton Garrard. I was relocating for work and a first-time homebuyer with little knowledge about how to find the right home. He was able to answer all my many questions and provide me with the knowledge I needed to make the right decisions. Alton did a great job searching a very thin market. At the height of covid Alton searched and searched for homes that would house our family of (5). Even though there wasn't much of a selection, we walked thru many homes over many weekends until we found a house that would work. He was very persistent and did not get frustrated even though we kind of felt that way at times.

We not only were selling our home during Covid but we’d already been relocated. Alton did an amazing job for us. He was hands on handling so many things we couldn’t do because we were out of the area.

This is the 4 house my wife and I have bought across 3 different states so we have had our fair share of realty experiences both buying and selling. This time it was a company relocation back to our home state which we were and are very excited about so it was very important to us to land where we wanted to in order to be optimal distance from work, friends, & family. Alton and I looked at many homes together, some were very nice and some were pretty terrible and overpriced. I apologized to Alton many times for dragging him out in the middle of winter (and a couple winter storms) to look at homes neither he or I thought would do the job. He always showed support for our home hunting purposes and continue hunting although the market is crazy and houses are turning over faster than the blink of an eye. Alton even visited many houses on our behalf while my wife and I were at our home out of state and walked both the inside and outside through a foot of snow showing us the homes on video jus so we could experience and make a decision live and remotely. Like I said we’ve had many realty transactions with the bulk of them being bad experiences.
