Allison’s deep understanding of the Pacific Northwest comes from having grown up in the heart of Lake Oswego. As she came of age, she watched and learned as her parents achieved great things in the real estate industry. Her father, Ed Buchman, made a successful career as a broker with the Hasson Company; her mother, Lynae Forbes, did the same and is now the President of that same brokerage. So you could say that Allison’s had a little exposure to the business.
While still a student at Lake Oswego High, she worked at Gubanc’s Pub in the Lake Grove neighborhood. It was at that reputable and cherished LO staple that she learned that the value and joy of building lasting relationships with a clientele and navigating the challenging, open waters of business were two things she needed in a career.
Upon graduation from high school, Allison ventured up to Seattle to earn her degree in Business Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Seattle University. After that, an opening on the Drew Coleman Team came up, and she seized the opportunity to work with one of Portland’s most recognized teams.
