Alex successfully supported us on the search for two properties in the Historic District of Savannah. We were so pleased with the experience buying the first property that we worked with him again two years later to find an investment property. Alex’s many strengths include his listening skills, patience and empathy. This translates into him showing us relevant properties and understanding that when looking for an investment property our requirements were not fully defined so the search field was broader than a home purchased solely for our own use. Alex’s local knowledge was invaluable as was his eye for detail (he spotted a number of structural problems that we missed which allowed us to make decisions on the viability of a property before going to the expense of an inspection). Putting Alex’s local knowledge and eye for detail together meant we were able to rapidly rule out a number of properties that we might otherwise have spent time considering. Alex worked with us when we were out of Savannah and we did a number of Facetime walkthroughs on prospective purchases which were revealing (it’s amazing how clever photography in advertisements can hide some obvious disadvantages). Alex is supported by a good team who gave us great assistance when one property purchase fell through after an offer had been accepted and an undisclosed problem was found. This is the advantage of dealing with a larger company who want to protect their clients and their own reputation.
