Al Detmer

To start off, this was not my first experience with Al as he helped me years ago with buying and selling a home, however this time was different because I was moving back home to Colorado from Arizona. Al helped make this difficult move and home purchase as smooth as possible. His expertise, eye for quality, and knowing what to avoid is priceless. Having someone I could trust while being a thousand miles away gave me all the confidence in the world that I was making the right decision and found the perfect home. Not to mention I had a lot of fun looking at houses and his sense of humor lightens the stressful nature of home buying. I always recommend Al to all my friends and family. Communication was incredible and he always kept me up to speed on what was happening on both ends of the deal. Anytime I had a question he always answered his phone and if he did not a return call came very quickly.

This is the second home Al Detmer has sold for me. The first one (April 2020-COVID!), I had multiple offers within a couple of hours it being posted! This one, right after the holidays and in a buyers market with what I consider high interest rates, we got multiple offers and over asking price! This is what Al can do for you... More about Al, he is very knowledgeable and experienced. This will give you comfort and confidence on your decision to use him. His communication style is open, friendly and personable, he is honest, caring and has a great sense of humor! He will work tirelessly for you and responds to your texts and emails promptly! Al's market analysis is spot on. He will let you know what your property's weakness & strengths are, what fixes/repairs are needed and what matters the most. He has (what I consider) an endless list of contacts, sources and connections. He knows what people are looking for, how to reach them and make them aware that your property is what they are looking for. His time-line is realistic and based on current market trends. Everything he told me came to fruition as he stated. Al follows the rules and laws and protects your interest and I have absolute trust in him. It doesn't matter why you're selling/buying or what trials and tribulations you're experiencing, Al will be there for you and help you every step of the way.

I purchased a home with Al Dettmer as my realtor and then listed my property for sale. On the buying side, he was fantastic; a great communicator, patient, and always quick to get me to new listings right as they hit the market. The whole process went smoothly. Selling my home was quite a lot more complicated. The home sat on 34 acres had an apartment house, a huge shop and a horse barn plus a 5,000 sq. foot home. It was a very unique property so we knew it would take just the right buyer. Al was really helpful in getting everything ready to list, lining up the support I needed and creating polished marketing materials to showcase the property. I would have loved a little more proactivity around open houses, but I also understand realtors have rules and that a rural property like mine appeals to a very specific audience. Through it all he communicated well with me and stayed committed until we found a buyer. In the end the transaction closed and I am grateful for his professionalism, steady guidance and sense of humor.
