My boyfriend and I recently made the momentous decision to purchase our first home. Up to that point, we had only been living in the area for 6 months and we shared several questions and concerns about not only finding the right home, but also about the process of buying a home itself. Because of the uncertainty, we were tepid in our search, only visiting open houses and doing whatever we could to not give away too much information about our wants and needs in fear of an overbearing listing agent. One afternoon, we ventured to an open house and had the opportunity to meet our eventual agent, Adrianne Hoadley with Kentucky Select Properties. Within only a few minutes of meeting, we could sense her authenticity and professionalism and for the first time, we felt genuinely comfortable with divulging our wants/needs and contact information with a real estate agent. We are so glad to have trusted our instincts because Adrianne was extremely pleasant to work with. She not only met expectations by sending us homes in our criteria, taking us out to tour, and responding promptly to our phone calls/emails, but she exceeded them, ultimately, by being our advocate. As our advocate, she took the extra time before, during, and after (yes, after!) the home buying process to learn about us, to answer the plethora of questions we had (remember, we are first time home buyers and new to the area), to hold others accountable, and to proactively reach out to us and make sure that we don't have any outstanding questions or concerns. Despite of how stressful the home buying process was, we are, in a way, sad it is over because we felt like we not only made a professional contact through working with Adrianne but we also made a friend in the process. If you are looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable real estate agent in the Louisville area, I urge you to reach out to Adrianne Hoadley.
