As Adam would say I am a #happyclient!!! I am actually a #VERYHAPPYCLIENT. When Adam was referred to me he took the time to truly listen to my wants, needs and dreams. I am an ‘older’ buyer and my prospective new home is my ‘forever’ home. I had a dream to be near the ocean in a new contemporary ‘Coastal’ home and in my wildest dreams I never thought he could find the perfect fit!!! He did!!! I purchased my dream home in June 2019 and after a long year of building and waiting through COVID I closed in August 2020 and throughout the whole process Adam was right there every step of the way. They say that this can be an emotional process and that was especially true towards the end of this for me as we came to quite a few unforeseen delays with the building process. Adam listened to my frustration and concerns and spoke to the Construction Coordinator in a way that was forceful but not ‘pushy’. I just sat back, trusted him and let him take over to deal with the issues. He was able to communicate clearly and effectively with the construction team which really helped make the end of the process a lot smoother and less stressful for me. I cannot say enough about Adam’s professionalism, competence, experience and knowledge. So needed in today’s real estate world!! Having Adam on my side was KEY in my buying experience. Adam was an outstanding realtor for me! I met him through the Homes for Heroes program, and I’m so grateful that I did. I was a first-time buyer, and pretty nervous about the whole process, and Adam was extremely thorough, patient and kind about explaining things every step of the way, and then re-explaining them whenever I started feeling a little overwhelmed. He was always available, responding very quickly to any calls or emails, and carefully answered any questions throughout the process. When we were looking at houses, he was very helpful in asking questions and pointing out details that I wouldn’t have known about. I always felt like he had my best interests in mind. When we found the house, he expertly guided us through the negotiations and gave us excellent contacts for the other professionals needed. And learning from Adam about the Homes for Heroes program really saved me some money! As a teacher, I didn’t have to do any extra work or preparation to participate in it, and I got a check sent directly back to me a few weeks after closing. I’m very appreciative to have been able to take advantage of Homes for Heroes, and I would highly recommend Adam Shamus to anybody buying or selling a home.

Over a series of months, Adam did a great job helping to sell my parents' condo. The place was in poor condition, but he did a very good job identifying what to improve or fix and what to leave to the buyer to update. He did a terrific job overseeing a significant amount of work to get the place ready to be sold, and he knew the right people to call to get the work done promptly and well. And then when it came time to list, he did a great job employing comps to set the right price to get it sold quickly, with minimal stress, and for a good price. He was reliable, efficient, and very responsive and proactive. Thanks Adam!
