We met Abby through Zillow when we requested to tour a home (which we ended up purchasing). We did not have a realtor at the time and were so lucky to have been connected with Abby. She is super responsive, advocated for exactly what we wanted and was highly organized throughout an extremely stressful time for us. After searching all over the area for a new home and nothing meeting our likes, we found a house on Realtor.com that looked like it might be the one. We made an appointment to view it and met Abby at the house. One look at it and "We'll take it!" As we toured the house, we fell in love with it even more. She asked how we liked it and we told her we would go home and discuss it. We needed to be quick as they already had six offers and they were being presented to the owner the following noon. she advised us on what kind of offer to make, we made it and within an hour of it being presented we got the call - it's ours even though we were not the highest bidder, we were the best cash offer. Abby also helped me sell my 4,100-sf house but it needed some modern upgrades to get top dollar. She introduced me to Compass Concierge, and we used them to make the upgrades before listing the home. We had an offer in three days that was awesome. Abby stayed right with us throughout the process. When things got a little bumpy, as they sometimes do, she was there to step in and smooth things out. Took the worry out of it for us!! She and the team that supports her are awesome!! Her network connection to potential buyers is what made this go so quickly and so well.

As a first time home buyer working with Abby was an absolute dream! In the current market I was very skeptical about getting an offer accepted or even finding the right house. In a short time Abby had a great understanding of what I was looking for and showed me a lot of great options within my price range. When I finally found a house I loved, Abby helped me submit an offer that same day! She walked me through every step of the process and every detail of the offer before we submitted. A lot more went into submitting an offer than I thought and she spent hours ensuring I understood every detail. That first offer got accepted and we closed within 30 days! There was a LOT I didn’t understand about buying a house, negotiating, and what needed to be done before closing. Abby checked in with me almost every day and made sure everything ran smoothly so we could close on time. (Which we did) I felt completely comfortable trusting Abby to do what she does best and because of this, I’m now in a nicer house than I though I could afford, UNDER BUDGET! Couldn’t thank her enough for everything she did!

Upon initial meeting with Abby, she was very nice and supportive, which made my decision to work with her easy. However, things are not always as they appear. When me and my significant other found a house that we fell in love with, she was more than willing to work to get what we wanted. However, this is where things became distorted and her true professionalism and ethics came to light. Abby manipulated certain situations that we were not comfortable about throughout the home buying process and did not explain many important details that may have altered our decision, just to make a sale on the home and collect commission. She was not transparent about certain financial aspects and even went so far as to omit information about certain documents that were pivotal in our decision to move forward on purchasing this home. She pacified our concerns instead of being honest about the situation and continued to play the role of the concerned realtor when things were being called into question. Once the sale was complete, she continued her role of the "concerned realtor" until she stopped all communication, leaving us confused, humiliated and upset. She placed much blame on the seller's realtor , when it was her the entire time. Abby Greenberg failed us in so many ways and it is disheartening to write this because this was supposed to be a joyous milestone in my life and it was nothing close to that. I am not writing this as a disgruntled client completely, but as a means to caution others that Abby will not be completely honest about things, especially important things that you, as the consumer would need to know when purchasing a home . Despite my gut telling us to walk way, she would then manipulate the situation to make things appear to be resolved, when in fact it was not. I would not recommend anyone who wants a reputable realtor to consider Abby as she is likely to do this again to someone else and ruin their home buying experience.
