John started his early real estate career with Patterson-Schwartz in 1979. Eighteen years later, he and Duncan Patterson embarked on the creation of Patterson Price Real Estate, with David Baker of Baker Farms subsequently purchasing Patterson’s interest years later. The business lasted 25 years before John came back to Patterson-Schwartz.
Along the way, John sold over 40,000 acres of property in the Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware markets, including two over 1,000 acres, one over 2,600 acres, a $20 million Cecil County estate, and 1,600 acres that became the Middletown area community of Bayberry.
In addition to land and farms, John has been very active of late selling waterfront and country estate property ranging from 10-50 acres. He is excited to assist both buyers and sellers in the sale of this unique segment of the market.
