We Put Our Full Trust in Raymond and Bought a House Site Unseen!

We discovered Gilbo Realty through their informative YouTube videos and the incredibly easy site Mark Gilbo created for finding homes in The Villages and Ocala area. We met Raymond when we took a trip to FL and he spent 5 days showing us homes in and around The Villages and Ocala. We are difficult buyers (engineer and data analyst (very picky) who wanted a pool home in our price range which reduced the field to a small subset of homes). Raymond watched and listened to us. He got to know us and learned what we wanted and how we thought. By the time we went back home we had complete confidence that he could be our eyes and ears. While we were in FL we put in a bid on a house, but the owners bought high and weren't willing to negotiate. We went back home and kept looking online. Then a house we hadn't seen (had been under contract), came back on the market. We asked him to walk through, take videos, and give us his honest opinion. He even talked to the neighbors and walked the area for us. We peppered him with questions and with each answer our confidence grew. 3 weeks later we were new homeowners! This house is incredible, we are still pinching ourselves!! You definitely want Raymond in your corner. He answers the phone anytime day or night, he listens, he has great ideas, he knows lots of people, negotiates hard without offending, and most important he is honest. He realizes that in the real estate business your reputation means everything and Raymond is dedicated to being the hardest working and honest agent out there. Buying a home is one of the most stressful, emotional parts of life and buying a home site unseen is something we never, ever would have done if we hadn't met Raymond.
