•Last February, we thought about the REMOTE possibility of moving back to Florida (after being away for 5 years). We watched several very informative YouTube videos outlining the pros and cons of such a move and realized that they were all created by the same person, Kathryn Newman! We decided to just touch base with her and chat (long distance) about the possibility of moving back. She gave us a BUNCH of advice and listened to our reservations and desires. Over a few weeks, she sent us several possibilities of houses we might like, and help us get prequalified for a potential purpose. The necessity of attending a dear friend's funeral in May allowed us an opportunity to meet Kathryn in person and tour 10-12 homes she arranged for us to tour while in Florida. Even though the first one we toured was the one we feel in love with, Kathryn cheerfully led us on our effort to do our due diligence and tour the rest of the properties. We decided to purchase that "first toured" house in late June. We move in late July and have been completely satisfied with our choice every since. We feel that God allowed us to make this move and allowed us to make contact with Kathryn and led us to make this decision to find a great place to live for the rest of our lives. The market was right, Kathryn helped us weed through the chaff and find the right house and, the entire time, was cheerful, helpful and encouraging throughout the entire process. We felt of her more of a friend rather than a business contact the entire time. It seems that everyone "knows someone" in the real estate business, but few has the enthusiasm, knowledge, the YouTube presence and the "lovability" we found in Kathryn Newman!
