Growing up in Summit County, Jon has a lifetime of local market knowledge. His family moved from Denver in 1992 and since then, he has learned 'a few things' about resort real estate sales. Jon started at Slifer Smith & Frampton in 2019 but real estate has been engrained in him and a part of his life since his first words. Jon's father, Craig, has been a Realtor since the early 1980's and has led many award-winning sales teams over the years - Craig continues to work in Slifer's Keystone office. Before becoming an associate at Slifer, Jon has gained professional experience in the ski-industry, construction, sales/marketing and local forestry. Jon has always loved helping others better enjoy this place he calls home, so it was just a matter of time before he discovered that he could combine this passion with his vast knowledge/insights of our local community, to finally heed to what seemed to be a calling of becoming a Realtor. Ryan Walsh knows Summit County real estate. Not only did he grow up here, but his father has been in the business for over 35 years. “I’m definitely a second-generation realtor,” he says. “I grew up working with my Dad and since I joined the Walsh group in 2008, for my Dad.” At 38, he already has 13 years of experience under his belt, especially in the Keystone market. After earning a degree in real estate and finance from The University of Denver, Ryan worked as a financial analyst for a mortgage company in Highlands Ranch, CO. With a well-rounded background in finance and intimate knowledge of the resort market, he is able to serve his clients in all facets of buying and selling in Summit County. Now that he’s raising his own family here, Ryan has a firsthand understanding of the community and lifestyle that gives his clients a rare insider’s perspective. “I have two daughters and have loved watching them grow up with the same outdoor lifestyle I was able to enjoy when we moved here when I was middle school,” he says. “I am still very active and love to snowboard at all five local resorts and play in a local men’s hockey league.” During the summer months, he stays busy hiking, biking, camping, golfing, and taking his Goldendoodle Burton to the park. “Even though I’ve lived here since I was a kid, I still appreciate living in one of the most beautiful places in the country,” he says. “With my vast knowledge of the real estate market and strong negotiating skills I can provide the same thing for you—a solid investment in a dream mountain getaway.”
