When I contacted Brent Rice to help me find a rental home I was at the end of my rope. I had tried for several months to find a house on my own and realized that I couldn’t do it on my own. I needed someone who knows the ins and outs of this business. I called Brent saying, “help! I have one week to find a home and move! Can you help me?” A house I had been approved for and waiting on for over 60 days did not pan out and I was at the end of my notice period where I was. Brent said, “I’ll send you a list of the docs we need to get this done, get them to me asap.” Brent the same day got me a list of houses (based on my preferences) to choose from. Brent took all my documents and set them up so electronically so that he could submit them on the spot if we found something we wanted. He dropped everything to spend the next day day with me to view the 8 or 9 houses I had selected to go see, after which he helped me get two applications sent for the ones I thought were the best for us. He got us approved for both in a day and we got to choose the best one. We moved by our deadline. Everything went as smooth as silk, if there were any hitches…I wasn’t aware of them (smiling). Brent is a knowledgeable realtor and dedicated to getting the deal done with seemingly no hitches. I was so relieved! Thank you Brent Rice!

Working with Brent was a great experience! He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. I am a first time home buyer, Brent was patient and explained everything to me. It was clear to me that Brent had my best interest in mind and was working to get me the best deal/home. Brent thoughtfully made suggestions on how to proceed but always made it clear that the decisions were mine to make. His approach with the seller produced a financially beneficial outcome. Brent is an outstanding DFW realtor whom my wife and I cannot recommend enough. He is a step above all other realtors we’ve encountered who brag about their many years of experience but then take the cookie cutter approach to buying and negotiating on a home. On top of that, he knows the lay of the land because he’s grown up in DFW and he has the business acumen of sensing market trends to foster buyer confidence in what is otherwise a sellers’ market here in DFW. Brent comes from an underwriting Goldman Sachs background where he was frequently engaged with many C-suite stakeholders. In other words, Brent has very sharp soft-skills and knows how to approach a seller’s agent in order to motivate sellers to seal the deal. He’s a Pit Bull with the finesse and likability of a Labrador Retriever. Words are not precise enough to describe Brent. My wife and I hired Brent ~ Thanksgiving when we had to let our previous agent go after 1.5 years of house hunting. We didn’t switch to another realtor sooner because we really liked our previous realtor, but we had to make the painful business decision of letting them go to get a fresh pair of eyes on our situation before my relocation benefits expired. By ~ New Years, Brent helped us to secure a house we were pursuing with our previous agent but failed to do so as a result of our realtor getting frustrated with the sellers’ agent. There’s no other way I can put to words in describing Brent other than comparing him to a great cup of coffee. You need to experience many bad cups before you can recognize a truly great cup. For rookie home buyers who have never had to experience many bad realtors, all I can say is take a leap of faith and go with Brent. His performance will set your expectations high that in your lifetime, other realtors will pale in comparison to Brent.

Early October, we asked Mr. Rice to represent us in selling our home. Within 2 weeks of listing our house, we had 2 viable offers. In another 2 weeks, we were at closing. Mr. Rice was always very prompt in answering any questions and guiding us through the process. He was also excellent at listening to our needs and working to meet those needs. When speaking with MR. Rice about selling our house, we conveyed to him that we really needed to sell our house by the end of October, which he accomplished with great professionalism. The entire process went very smoothly. Brent Rice is the BEST Realtor in this area. Hard working, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and attentive. We received multiple offers in a few weeks and managed to close the house in less than a month. Brent Rice assisted me with the purchase of my home in The Legends when it was a foreclosure. He told me back in 2010 that The Colony would be a great place to own property and live. He was right! What I learned about Brent is that he knows what he is talking about because he is been in the real estate business for almost 30 years and has been in our area for the past 15 years.
