Our family was looking to buy our third home after a relocation from Virginia. We met Lori at an open house and enjoyed talking to her. She has very fun personally. After a lengthy conversation that we had with her, we decided that we wanted her as our agent. We looked at several houses and she helped us find the right one. She cared about what we were looking for and took the time to listen and understand our family needs. She walked us through the home buying process and took care of everything behind the scenes. She answered her phone day or night if we needed to talk and she worked around our schedule She negatiated the deal to get us the best buying price. After settlement, Lori continued her relationship checking in with us to make sure we are ok. Lori is just like family.
Working with Lori was absolutely wonderful, we couldn't have asked for anything better. From the very first phone call I knew she understood our wants and needs and our busy schedules. Lori was available to us anytime to answer questions or explain the next steps in the whole process. After only looking at a few houses we found our perfect home and it's all because of Lori's hard work. Lori was excellent with communication. She always responded immediately and stayed on top of details. She understood our needs and was extremely accommodating. She was cheerful and positive during all interactions, which made the process less stressful. She was knowledgeable about the process and explained every step as we went along. She also helped us meet our very tight timeframe by making herself available and working at any time we needed her. She provided SO much information on various aspects of life in Newark DE, which was helpful as we are new to the state. In this way, we felt she worked over and above what was required! It was lovely to work with Lori and we were so glad we to have her. I think it may be an area that is restricted for realtors, but we might have hoped for more "critical" assessments of some properties we viewed. But again this may be an area where realtors must be cautious and unbiased. I think it is on the buyer to do all due diligence!
Lori was a great realtor and really helped us in our process of moving to the Newark area from out of town.
