•Bill marketed my mom’s house extensively on many different outlets. Open houses were common and traffic varied based on the reports we received. Selling a 55+ home is different than selling a traditional home as the market is definitely smaller First offer we received my mother decided not to move forward with as the buyer wanted some expenses paid - it was a VA Bill did explain that many times the first offer is the best, and we negotiated to get close to my mothers expectation of a sale price but ultimately the Buyer withdrew Our next offer took several weeks It was cash, mom was happy, but the final price was lower than had we moved forward with the first offer Bill’s counseling was great, unfortunately economic changes and the market worked against us Should have gone with the first offer!
