A Vail Valley native, Kendal has deep roots here, and an even deeper appreciation for the work it takes to achieve real results in a small mountain resort community like Vail. As the daughter of two business owners, she learned early on that it takes diligence, resilience, creativity, and a strong work ethic to succeed. Joining Slifer Smith & Frampton as an Office Marketing Coordinator in 2021, Kendal swiftly advanced to the role of Licensed Assistant for some of the company’s top-producing brokers. Now part of a father-daughter team, she brings a technology-forward approach to their marketing arsenal to expertly market their clients’ for-sale properties and seek out opportunities for their buyers. At the core of it all, she credits her integrity and meticulous attention to detail as the foundation of their top-notch client service. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Kendal holds a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado. Post-graduation, she ventured to Costa Rica to deepen her understanding of sustainable development where she ignited a newfound interest in visual communication, leading her back to academia for her second degree in Graphic Design from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design (2020). Prior to beginning her real estate career, she worked for many family-run local businesses throughout Eagle County including the Steadman Philippon Research Institute, Gorsuch and The Golden Bear. When not hard at work, you’ll find Kendal backcountry skiing, biking, camping, designing jewelry, hiking the dogs, and enjoying the outdoors whenever possible. She also loves spending time with friends and family, whether it’s catching a show at the Vilar or drinking margaritas at the incredible restaurants throughout the valley. Kendal lives in West Vail with her husband, Kevin, and two dogs, Nala and Ralphie (Go Buffs!).

In 1976 Paul, a young silversmith from Buffalo, New York, touched down in Vail, Colorado and quickly fell in love with the mountain lifestyle. Over the next 30 years, Paul developed Gotthelf Jeweler's into one of the premier U.S. jewelry retailers and a staple business in Vail Village. He was lucky enough to be a part of the early years in Vail and foresaw the incredible potential of our special Valley. Shortly after he settled in Vail, he invested in residential and commercial properties throughout the Valley, thus beginning his fascination with real estate. Paul brings a unique perspective to looking at properties. Not only does he have a passion for analyzing market trends and growth potential, he also has a strong background in construction, having built homes and conducted extensive remodels over the years. Paul holds a deep understanding of the mechanics and structures of buildings. He often takes on projects for clients rather than outsourcing them; affectionately nicknamed Mr. Fix-it, Paul rarely leaves his house without his toolbox in hand. During his time in the jewelry industry, Paul developed an incredible book of business with clients from all over the world, which inevitably helped launch his real estate career. Since landing in Colorado 50 years ago, Paul has been passionate about the Vail Valley lifestyle and helping people find their own dream in our special community. During 2015 Paul took his new passion to the next level when he was awarded the top broker in Vail and 4th in the entire company! By bringing a unique point of view and a hands-on approach to real estate, Paul's methodology truly sets him apart from others and enables him to provide clients with an unparalleled level of service.
