Penny Silich was born and raised in Buffalo Grove and Long Grove, Illinois, where she continues to call home today. She divides her time between her residence in Long Grove and her lake home in Powers Lake, Wisconsin. Penny is a 1987 graduate of Adlai E. Stevenson High School and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 1991. Penny has been married to her husband, Don Silich, a Captain with American Airlines, for many years. Together they have two sons, Sammy (26) and Jack (23), both of whom attended Long Grove School District 96 and Adlai E. Stevenson High School District 125. With more than 30 years of experience, Penny is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois and a licensed Realtor in Florida. Real estate has always been a family tradition. Her mother, Susan Coveny, founded the highly respected Susan Coveny Team of REMAX Prestige and later passed the torch of the Illinois business to Penny, who now serves as Team Leader of the Coveny Prestige Team at RE/MAX Suburban.
