I’m a Northwoods native through and through, and helping people find their place up here is what I love most. I was born and raised on the Eagle River Chain, where my family has called the shoreline home for more than 50 years. My dad owned a restaurant and bar in the area, and I grew up watching him create that classic “Northwoods experience” for locals and visitors. It rubbed off on me in all the right ways. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse with majors in Business Communication and Sociology, I spent time in Madison and Colorado. Great places — but they weren’t home. I realized my passions looked a lot like my father’s: connecting people with this community, this lifestyle, and these lakes. So I came back to the place that shaped me. Today, I’m a Real Estate Specialist with The JWP Group at RE/MAX Property Pros, serving buyers and sellers across Vilas, Oneida, Forest, Price, Iron, and Lincoln counties in Wisconsin, and Ontonagon and Gogebic counties in Michigan. I hold my ABR and RSPS designations and focus heavily on buyer representation, waterfront properties, recreation-driven living, and helping out-of-area clients navigate a market that isn’t always straightforward. What sets me apart is simple: hard work, clear communication, honesty, and deep local knowledge. I don’t disappear, and I don’t pressure. When I’m not working, you’ll find me on the water, fishing, camping, exploring the woods, or cooking something for the people I love. I’m an auntie, pet mom, adventure buddy, loving girlfriend of an amazing man, bartender when needed, and a proud Northwoods girl at heart. As a Northwoods WI native I have had the great pleasure of growing up in Vilas County. From spending summers on the lakes and ATV trails, and winters snowmobiling I thoroughly love the place I call home. As such I enjoy every opportunity to welcome new neighbors and send off old friends to begin their next chapters. I began my real estate career in December of 2014 but my intrigue began much earlier as my father was a home builder specializing in custom log homes. His passion for real estate and helping people was passed on to me and although my job title is “sales associate”, I do not consider myself a salesman. Real Estate is a service industry and I find clients properties what they need/want under the price and conditions agreeable to them. I pride myself on being a student of the market and relaying my expertise and knowledge to better assist clients on their ownership journey. Family mean EVERYTHING to me and as the youngest of eight children I have a HUGE family. I am obsessed with being an auntie and spoiling all my 15 nieces/nephews rotten! Luckily enough most of us still live here in Northern WI too, as do my retired parents who have a hobby farm in Phelps where cattle, pigs, bees, gardening, and apple orcharding keep them happy and busy. I currently live at my own little slice of Heaven in Vilas County where a “fixer upper” has kept me occupied in my free time. My hobbies and interests include flower gardening (aka saving the world by feeding the bees), cooking, golfing, reading, ATV-ing, snowmobiling, boating, and waterfalling.

Eric Eswein brings more than 30 years of dedication, leadership, and service to his real estate career. After beginning his teaching career in 1994 with the Tomah Area School District, Eric has spent three decades working in both physical education and special education, while also serving as a coach and mentor to countless students. He was the head track and field coach for 17 years and offensive coordinator for the football team for 21 seasons, building strong relationships and a reputation for commitment, integrity, and teamwork. Now transitioning to real estate full-time, Eric has been a licensed agent since 2018 with RE/MAX Property Pros and a member of the Merz/Goldsworthy team. His background in education and coaching has shaped his client-first approach—centered on communication, trust, and guiding people through important decisions with confidence. Eric also brings hands-on experience in home building and renovation, having spent many summers working on projects throughout central and west-central Wisconsin, as well as in the Northwoods. He and his wife Michelle purchased and fully renovated their home in Eagle River in 2017, further strengthening his knowledge of the market and property potential in the area. A lifelong connection to the Northwoods—spanning over 45 years—gives Eric a deep appreciation for the lifestyle and community he serves. Whether working with buyers or sellers, he is passionate about building relationships and helping clients find not just a property, but the right fit for their goals and lifestyle. Eric and his wife Michelle have two children, Collin and Ellie. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, boating and golfing, and looks forward to continuing to serve clients and the community full-time in this next chapter.
