Family and friends have always been a huge part of who I am. I grew up in a tightknit community just north of Birmingham, Alabama, where everybody did indeed know everybody else's name! The end result of this "Salt of the Earth" influence has been a strong work ethic and an allegiance to honesty and Christian values. After graduating from Mortimer Jordan High School, I studied at the University of Montevallo and ultimately graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Accounting. Immediately upon graduation, I invested some twenty years in business, utilizing my marketing skills. In 2004, my life trajectory changed significantly! It was at this point that I began an exciting journey into real estate appraisal and real estate marketing and sales. Since that time, I have sold hundreds of properties --- working with sellers, buyers, investors and financial institutions. Experience is a cornerstone of an effective real estate professional. It is experience, honesty and integrity that I pledge to my clients and customers.

I have been in the building industry for over 20 years. My father has owned a lumber yard for over 50 years so I have been around building of homes. I love helping buyers find their dream home just as much as I enjoy helping people sell homes they don't need anymore. My best asset is that I answer my phone when I am not with another client. I moved to Birmingham in 1989 to go to school at UAB. I grew up in Tuscaloosa one hour away. After graduating UAB I remained in Birmingham for work. In 2006 I earned my real estate license and have been full time since 2007. We adopted a baby boy in 2007 with brain injury and Cerebral palsy and real estate has been a great fit for my family with the flexible schedule to be able to take care of him and my clients without neglecting either of them. In the past 20 years I have built my business to be a well recognized name in the greater Birmingham area and maintain strong working relationships with other realtors and vendors as my clients benefit the most with smooth relationships. I love getting to know a person's needs and their personalities as we make a plan for reaching their goals. Because of my work ethic and absolute love of this great career I have been blessed to remain in the top 1-2 % of performers year after year. While I know all areas of Birmingham due to living and working in all areas I now live in the North Jefferson area which is just north of downtown Birmingham and south of Cullman and Blount County. Over 50% of my business is in the North Jefferson, Blount County and Cullman areas and the remaining is in areas like Trussville, Homewood, Hoover, Chelsea, Alabaster and Pelham. I enjoy handling referrals and have a great track record of helping agents get their clients taken care of. I have a transaction coordinator and a buyers agent as part of my team so that all needs can be met.
