I was pleased to benefit from Richard's deep knowledge of the real estate markets and his broad network among contractors and other professionals in adjacent spaces. His willingness to step up to take care of whatever needs arose -- e.g., removal of furniture/belongings, arranging for unexpected repairs, an unexpected need to visit to the premises, etc. -- was a godsend for a seller like me, located outside the area. Although the market deteriorated during the period of the listing and downward adjustments had to be made to asking price, and consequently proceeds from sale were unfortunately much lower than originally hoped, Richard advised calmly and reasonably during the process, never applying pressure. He simply shared his insights and acted as a sensible sounding board. It would have been even more enjoyable to work with Richard during a rising/seller's market, but all the same, I did enjoy working with him very much.
