Caitlin Valk, Director of Business Development and Training, came to RE/MAX Executive with 13 years of experience in training and education, including instructional design, K-12, and higher education. As former Theatre director, she loves working with people and finding creative solutions. A native of Oxford, Ohio, Caitlin has been in the Charlotte area since 2006. She enjoys game and movie nights with her husband and three kids and traveling with her daughter’s competitive dance team.

I’m a real estate agent with RE/MAX serving Georgetown, Murrells Inlet, Pawleys Island, and the surrounding areas. I’ve been in real estate since 2021, starting in administrative and transaction coordination roles before becoming a licensed agent. Working behind the scenes early in my career gave me a deep understanding of contracts, deadlines, and what it truly takes to get a deal to the closing table. Now, I use that experience to help my clients navigate the buying and selling process with confidence, clear communication, and as little stress as possible. Meet Carolyn Baker, a real estate agent with a passion for helping buyers find their perfect home and assisting sellers in finding the right buyer who will cherish their property. Originally from Jacksonville, FL, Carolyn’s journey led her to Georgetown, SC, where she fell in love with the area’s fishing, beautiful beaches and charming small towns. Carolyn’s educational background consists of having earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Florida State University. She dedicated seven years to teaching in private schools before spending a fulfilling fifteen years at Waccamaw Elementary School in Pawleys Island, SC. With a family deeply rooted in real estate, Carolyn’s destiny was clear- she would combine her love for helping others and her understanding the importance of confidentiality, communication, and trust from her teaching experience into her real estate career. Taught school for 11 years and then went into sales with Craftmatic Adjustable Beds, Life and Insurance Sales, and Retail Sales at the Inlet Square Mall. Ellen is a native of Georgetown with deep roots in the community. She graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a degree in Business and The Art Institute of Atlanta with a degree in Interior Design. Employed by architectural firms specializing in corporate, hospitality, & institutional design in both Atlanta & Charleston, Ellen moved back to Georgetown in 1993. She started her own retail & residential interior design business which was on Front St. for a number of years. Since then she has worked in both Georgetown & Pawleys Island. Having always been interested in real estate & knowing that her knowledge of interior design would be an asset in that field, Ellen became a REALTOR and loves helping people find the perfect home for their needs.
