My husband and I purchased our first home through Tarah, and it was such a good experience. We contacted her when we were ready to sell and asked for help finding a new home. My health has declined over the last couple years, and we need a home with minimal to no steps. We toured more than a few properties, but ended up finding a perfect home. Tarah was able to help as we considered living outside Portland, and her area of comfort is the entire Portland metropolitan and I am sure beyond. Our new home closed one day after our current home sold!

Sue went above and beyond for us. She worked so hard for us. In this seller’s market, we needed some real help. Sue was in constant and quick communication with us, calling and texting, making sure she knew how we wanted to proceed. She often motivated us to keep our heads in the game and kept us organized. She was always available to show us houses and suggest new houses fresh on the market, every single day. We saw so many houses. She knows the market and helped us put in a competitive offer that was also under appraisal. As well, she was able to help us understand what we saw in a house and whether a house seemed to have “good bones” or not. When we finally did get our offer accepted (and we were exhausted of house stuff by this time), she coordinated everything up through closing: oil tank sweep, sewer scope, inspection, several general contractor, chimney and roofer quotes, and lots of communication with the seller’s agent. It was all the small stuff that Sue did that added up and that we appreciated so much, like texting us at 10 at night “So, what did you guys think of that last house?” or a phone call “They are putting the radon fan in this room. Is that ok with you all?” and an email after we bought the house with contacts for floors and window quotes. She was obviously working for our benefit the entire time. We are very happy to have worked with Sue.

As a first time home buyer our knowledge was limited and the process seemed daunting. Jake did an excellent job of explaining the process to us (multiple times in some cases) and made the idea of home ownership a reality. While working with Jake we were able to narrow down what we wanted in our first home based on budget and location.
