My wife, Bev and I enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake Bay and its' tributaries for many years. Now we spend most of our free time at our beach house "A BBITT BEACHY" in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Our children, Brant and Brooke, are now part of the business. It was never in the plan but we are extremely happy that it has worked that way. My wife Bev is a retired school teacher and now a full time Nana to our 4 beautiful grandchildren Ainsley, Lilly, Cailyn and Brennan. I am a native of this area, a military veteran and was an active Rotarian with perfect attendance for over 30 years.

I am a 3rd generation 'Abbitt' in the real estate business on Virginia's Peninsula. I was born and raised in Hampton Roads and know the area like the back of my hand. I've been full time in real estate since 2001. My wife Stacie joined me in 2016 and together we provide personal attention and professional service. Coaching and developing agents and businesses is Brooke's passion. Since joining the organization in 2010, she has successfully implemented the Momentum system into all three RE/MAX Peninsula offices, significantly increased agent count and company profitability, developed a strategic recruiting system and focuses on continual improvement of the organization. Brooke is well recognized in the RE/MAX network and her local real estate markets as a progressive, positive leader impacting many in the industry.

I also love to travel, both near and far, and I never pass up an opportunity to visit local favorites like Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Water Country USA, or Colonial Williamsburg. Living in this incredible region means being surrounded by history, beaches, and adventure—from Yorktown and Jamestown to nearby Virginia Beach—with the mountains and Washington, D.C. just a drive away. I truly believe there’s no better place to call home, and I love helping others discover that for themselves.
