A lifelong Northwest Indiana resident, Alison brings deep local knowledge and extensive real estate experience to her work as a REALTOR® and Managing Broker with RE/MAX County Wide 1st. Through the Living NWI brand, she serves buyers, sellers, relocating clients, and property owners throughout Northwest Indiana with an approach built around clear communication, thoughtful strategy, and straightforward advice.
Alison believes good representation begins with understanding the person behind the transaction. Whether helping a first-time buyer understand the process, advising a homeowner on market value and positioning, navigating a complex negotiation, or helping someone relocate to Northwest Indiana, she takes the time to explain the why behind the decisions her clients are making. Her goal is not simply to get to closing—it is to make sure her clients understand their options, feel well represented, and can make informed decisions along the way.
Her commitment to the real estate profession extends well beyond her own business. Alison has served for nine years on the Board of Directors of the Northwest Indiana REALTORS® Association (NIRA), including as Treasurer in 2023, President-Elect in 2024, President in 2025, and Immediate Past President in 2026. Her association leadership has included work in governance, finance, member involvement, and strategic planning. She currently serves as Chair of NIRA’s Membership Involvement & Social Events Committee and Elections Committee and continues to serve on the Finance Committee.
Alison has also invested extensively in professional education, earning the ABR®, AHWD®, CRS, e-PRO®, MRP, and SFR® designations and certifications. She believes experience matters—but so does continuing to learn, staying engaged with changes in the industry, and understanding how those changes affect the people she represents.
Alison’s connection to Northwest Indiana is personal as well as professional. She has called the region home her entire life and has lived in Valparaiso since 1998. She understands that choosing where to live is about much more than the property itself. Community, lifestyle, commute, family needs, future plans, and the feeling of being at home all matter. That perspective is at the heart of the Living NWI brand and the way she approaches real estate.
