We got new house because of Cassie… she is very helpful on things and negotiation with builder… but if Callahan has weekend working hours it will be great because as we are employees we have to make appointments on weekdays and those are our working hours too… if that happened our things will be perfect awesome…

We moved to the Cedar Rapids area from Glendale, Arizona. We chose to work with Debra Callahan at Call Callahan Real Estate Team because she was recommended to us from our agent in Arizona. Her reputation as an honest, highly experienced, and very knowledgeable agent was know all the way in AZ! After a phone conversation with her, when she asked about our family and what was important for us to find in a home in Cedar Rapids, we felt very confident that she would be fantastic to work with! We came to Cedar Rapids to house hunt for just a few days. Debra set up showings for the houses that were top of our list and met our “must haves”. As we went through the showings, she reminded us that she would be able to show us a house the following day, one day before it officially hit the market and she believed this house hit all our “must haves” and plenty of our “likes” as well. She was right! That house was the one! Moving from out of state was daunting, but Debra asked questions about what we wanted and gave us answers to questions we didn’t even know we had! She connected us with a mortgage company and was able to negotiate a VERY quick close for us to be able to move into our new home before our work start date just weeks later. Debra and her team were very easy to work with. They were efficient in their communication with us. They were kind and considerate, sending reminders when we missed something in the chaos of a cross-country move. They welcomed us to our new home with thoughtful housewarming gifts and made us feel like part of the Cedar Rapids community right from the start. Our house was initially listed with FSBO for about 1.5 months. After listing with the Callahan team, the house was sold within 12 hours. The timeliness for closing was excellent. All questions were answered satisfactorily by the team. We would have received more than the list price if we hadn’t listed at a lower price with FSBO! Overall, excellent experience.
