It was a difficult decision to sell the home we raised our children in but once we committed ourselves to downsizing, Crystal and Jim helped us tremendously with ideas for staging our home, marketing our home and, in the middle of Covid, safely bringing potential buyers into our home. They communicated regularly with us, especially important as we were not in our home state for most of the time our home was on the market. Under the shadow of Covid, tough economic times and working with us remotely, the Halley team was able to sell our home within 3 months. I don’t have very many conventional sales. My listings have unusual vesting deed issues with titles that are difficult, trust companies that are demanding and hoops that need to be jumped through. I’ve never met a more patient Realtor than Jahangir Qureshi. He was able to calm his client in midst of the storm. He kept both sides at ease every difficult step forward. Another realtor boasted that he has been #2 in the country for selling homes. He estimated that our house would sell for around 76K-82K. Teresa came along and listed it for $95K. Two days later we accepted an offer for $100K. She was very attentive to us and kept us informed every step of the way. Jahangir has excellent market knowledge, especially for complex transactions. The transaction involved an IRA sale which is very complex. There were numerous times I thought the deal would fall through but Jahangir spoke to the seller’s agent on my behalf.
