About Curtis

Curt Mellon and Mike Federau have forged a successful partnership for more than 35 years, first in the field of insurance and more recently in residential real estate in southwest Florida; including the areas of Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, North Port, Boca Grande, Englewood, Venice, Arcadia, North Fort Myers and, North Cape Coral. With experience in both building design and construction, Curt Mellon and Mike Federau realized their long-held dream of employing their expertise in the Sunshine State in 1994. After several years in Naples, Florida they relocated Punta Gorda. “It felt like the right time, and Punta Gorda felt like the right place,” they said; and it was. Both Curt and Mike were raised in large families in Michigan, where their natural congeniality was well suited to working easily with clients in private business. Their eagerness to serve has transferred perfectly to Florida real estate. Professionalism, a solid work ethic and insistence on putting clients’ needs first have been rewarded with a thriving South Florida real estate business as well as a long roster of satisfied clientele.

Went above and beyond the responsibilities of a realtoe

Kate worked very hard in a tough market to get my house sold. We had a very difficult buyer that required a lot of extra time and effort on her part. She never lost her optimistic, cheerful attitude. And I considered her a good friend at the end of the deal. I have never heard a negative comment about Kate, as a matter of fact, she is considered the hardest working realtor in the area. It shows in her success rate how much time and energy she puts into her job. She consistently updates you on the market, the feedback and showings and gives honest opinions on asking prices, but readily listens to your opinions and needs.

The Only Realtor We’ll Ever Use in Florida

Working with Laurie Myette was hands-down the best decision we made. We have purchased and sold land as well as found the perfect vacation home with her help. From day one, she was patient and understanding as we navigated our way from land to home. She took the stress out of an unusually tricky situation when purchasing the vacation home. Her communication was flawless, and we never felt like we were in the dark. If you want someone who is professional, proactive, and genuinely cares about your outcome, look no further.
