Hello, Pacific Northwest! Having been born and raised in Bellevue, Washington, I not only love the area but know a lot about it! I specialize in working with buyers from north of Seattle, the Canadian border, and everything in between. I have been in the local real estate industry since 2000 and am now the managing broker and owner of The Weitzel Home Team where our top priority is our service to you. We love helping people through the process of buying or selling real estate. I look forward to helping you! When not helping my clients find their dream home, I can be found in my garden our exploring the beauty of the PNW with my husband, Sonny, our two boys, and our two black labs! What I most love about our area is how many different things there are to do and to see! We have gorgeous Mt. Baker and the San Juan Islands as well as huge cities like Seattle and Vancouver. And everything is relatively close to each other! We also have lush farmland that yields tulips, blueberries, cheese, wine, and a variety of veggies. My family loves enjoying these in my mother's home cooking when we get together weekly on Sundays. Real estate is such a rewarding industry. Reducing stress and anxiety for clients during such a transition is why I wake up and go to work in the mornings. Let's work together!

Born and raised in California, I made the Bellingham, WA area my home in 2015 after serving in the military. As a transplant myself, I understand the challenges and excitement of relocating and love helping others make a smooth transition to life in Bellingham. I specialize in working with fellow veterans, guiding them through the home buying and selling process with confidence. As president of the board at Growing Veterans—a local nonprofit supporting veteran reintegration—I donate a portion of every commission to their mission. I’m passionate about educating my clients and offer VA Homebuying classes throughout the year to ensure they're informed every step of the way. When I’m not working, you’ll find me hiking the local trails or firing up the BBQ.

Lisa was born and raised in Whatcom County. She has been working with RE/MAX Whatcom County since 1991, the day they opened. Lisa is the Director of Operations and is skilled at financial strategy, IT solutions and company growth. She brings a "can do" attitude and loves to foster fun environments where team members feel encouraged, supported and appreciated in the work spaces. Lisa currently holds her Managing Broker license. She is a mother to two children and the grandmother of a beautiful little boy and a gorgeous little girl. When she is not working she loves traveling, gardening and anything that involves music. She also loves a good belly laugh.
