Penny Silich was born and raised in Buffalo Grove, IL and Long Grove, IL, where she continues to live today. She splits her time between her home in Long Grove and her lake house in Powers Lake, WI. She is a 1987 graduate of Stevenson High School and earned a BS from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 1991. Penny is married to Don Silich, a Captain with American Airlines and has two sons, Sammy (22), and Jack (19), who both attended the Long Grove District #96 schools and Stevenson High School District #125. Penny Silich has been an IL licensed Real Estate Broker for the past 30 years, and she is also a licensed Realtor in the state of Florida. Her mother, Susan Coveny, was the original team leader of the Susan Coveny Team, and has since passed on the torch to her daughter, Penny, who is now the team leader of the Coveny Prestige Team of REMAX Suburban. As one of the original team members, Penny played an integral part of the huge success of the Susan Coveny Team. During Penny’s tenure, The Susan Coveny Team was awarded #1 REMAX agent/team in the entire REMAX organization, was the #1 REMAX agent/team in Illinois, and was the #1 agent/team in Lake County IL.
