I’ve always been in the confidence business — I started by helping people feel their best behind the chair, and now I help them feel confident making one of the biggest (sometimes stressful) decisions of their lives: buying or selling a home. Turns out the skills transfer — listening, guiding, and occasionally talking someone out of a decision they think they want. I’m married to what I like to call the best sheriff’s deputy around — which means I’m basically in law enforcement by association — and we’re raising two teenage (and very trying ) boys. I grew up right here — riding four wheelers, side-by-sides all over the tri-county area and hanging out on the lake — and this place has always had my heart… even when I thought I wanted to leave. I always ended up right back on the farm in Caldwell Co! There’s nothing that eases my mind more than riding horses. I’m a proud member of Christ Tabernacle and a lover of Jesus. I love bow hunting, hiking around LBL , planting and tending to my flowers in the summer, and my three standard poodles have my whole heart. I am a retired teacher turned real estate agent. As a native of Western Kentucky I grew up enjoying the beautiful area on both Barkley and Kentucky Lakes. I attended the University of Kentucky where I obtained my BS degree in Elementary Education. Choosing to return to my hometown, I taught in the Lyon County school system for 33 years. During that time I taught many grade levels while obtaining two MA degrees from Murray State University--one in Reading Education and one in School Administration. When I began planning for retirement I wanted a new career that went along with my love for this area and working with families. Real estate is it!
