•Shelli Jaye is a Realtor extraordinaire. I met her when looking online at Overland Park homes as I considered moving to be near my daughter, husband and future granddaughter. I saw a townhome I liked and Shelli was the listing agent. We exchanged emails for weeks, as I was living in Colorado and not able to visit Kansas right away. In the meantime, that townhome sold. Shelli sent me many listings for homes and townhomes and I chose some to see when I visited Kansas. Unfortunately, none were what I really wanted. Shelli and I talked more about my wishes and she continued to send listings. A villa was listed that backed to the “woods”, and I love trees and the privacy of such a location. Shelli said it was one of her favorite neighborhoods, and I trusted that opinion since she’s lived in the area for years. Without seeing the home in person, I made an offer for over the listing price and got the home a day after it was listed. Shelli did Facetime previews of the home with me and she set up many contractors including a home inspector, and workers to install new flooring, paint the entire interior, install new lighting, hardware, plumbing, etc. She was a blessing with all this help since I was still living in Colorado and trying to sell my home. Shelli coordinated the workers, and visited the house many times to check on things. This was above and beyond typical realtor duties. Shelli knows the area, knows real estate, HVAC units, and many aspects of a home for sale. She is smart, knowledgeable, helpful, always available, patient with many questions, full of great advice on homes, financing, insurance, etc. She volunteers and is a real asset to the community and real estate market. Working with Shelli was wonderful!
