Stephen has been absolutely fantastic! We had issues with our previous agent who just was not responsive/knowledgeable enough to help us in the extremely competitive seller’s market. Stephen understood our concerns and frustration; he then very quickly figured out what was important to us even before we knew it. He found us the perfect house on the first day we went viewing homes! He knew our home was priced fairly in the competitive buyer’s market, so we put in an offer, and it was accepted. He was very responsive and helpful throughout the process all the way to closing. We will be highly recommending him to friends and family. My fiance and I found Stephen through total chance — we were scrolling on Zillow and requested a tour of a home and he picked us up. I can’t imagine having gone through this process without him. From day one, Stephen was 100% transparent and on our side. He explained the process thoroughly and answered every single question, sometimes multiple times. We have hectic schedules and he was able to make it work every single time. It was more than evident he wasn’t just in this process for a paycheck, that he genuinely wants the best for us. Stephen’s knowledge of the market and professionalism are unmatched. He pointed out things we would have never seen, gave us pointers, and let us know what to look out for. When a deal fell through (fault of seller totally!), he picked the pieces right up and moved us forward. From the beginning to the end, anytime we would call, he would answer. No question was too small or not in his wheelhouse. If he didn’t know, he found out. If he didn’t like it, he fixed it. I was never uncomfortable in an extremely nerve wracking process. I spent days scouring realtors in our area, reading all of their reviews and biographies, and ultimately narrowed it down to three based more on instinct than confidence. We met with them all to see how they would value and market our home, and, I will be honest, it was a tough choice. You begin to question whether to listen to your heart of your head, especially when you get such varying numbers and presentations, but we decided to simply trust our gut and are very glad we did. Where to start: Stephen is knowledgeable, patient, true to his word, a very good communicator, supportive and professional. We never felt pressured or bothered, and trusted that he had our backs from the get go. Selling a home is not easy, and he more than one time allowed me to vent, cry or laugh when I needed it, which made the entire experience a bit less stressful and much more human. When we hit bumps in the road, he helped us quickly figure out how to proceed. When we had questions, he had answers. He was flexible, helpful and (and I don't say this lightly) is a very good person. At the end of the day, I think everyone involved in the transaction was pleased, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second in recommending Stephen to anyone who needs an agent. He's a good man who gets good results, a seemingly rare combination.
