I have had the pleasure of working with Karen professionally in the past. She is dedicated to her career in Real Estate and loves helping folks navigate their real estate transactions whether buying or selling. Karen and Michelle work well together. I called Karen to get her advice when deciding to sell my mothers-in-law home in Clearbrook. She gave her opinion of value, condition and the current market, not knowing for certain that she would be listing since we were actively selling by owner. She knew our decision was personal and we would need time to navigate the process. Deciding to list with Karen and Michelle was the best decision we made. There were times that I felt the communication was scarce, but having been in the business I know that life gets busy and the emails and texts don't stop, but little did I know that she was working with potential buyers behind the scene navigating a Bonafide offer once she brought it to the table. She took it upon herself to assist with some HOA issues we were having and helped us to resolve a potential unforeseen violation. Prior to listing with Karen many agents were reaching out to us to list the property. When I asked if they had buyer's they all said "No". Karen did not pursue us as For Sale by Owner, we contacted her. She did not try to persuade us to list, she encouraged us to take our time and gave us a realistic price to list. That being said once we listed at the end of August we were closed by the beginning of December. After the passing of my father in 2021, I was left with my family homestead. With both of my parents gone now, I had a hard time putting the house up for sale. I live in PA and the house is in NJ. I couldn't keep this house. I finally caved in and called Gareth Farmer, who my dad had worked with years before, and told him I'm ready to sell. Gareth arrived on time and spoke with a calming and professional demeanor. I felt as if I had known him for years. We took a tour of the house and as we were walking around Gareth was discussing with me how long houses were staying on the market and how much houses in the area were selling for. Gareth pointed out some areas that the inspector might hit us on, but said selling the house would be no problem. The house needed some new smoke detectors and a fire extinguisher. Gareth immediately said he would take care of it. WOW! While going through and signing all the paperwork, I had some teary-eyed moments. Having known my dad, Gareth was visibly touched and shared some calming words. I really don't think I would have gotten through this sale with any other agent. Gareth said he would be listing the house the next day, and, true to his word, the house was listed. Gareth and I were in constant contact with each other. I never had to wait to talk to him. On day three I received three offers! I accepted one of the offers and after the buyer's inspection, I needed an electrician and plumber. Gareth said he know both and could take care of it for me. Again, WOW! The electrical and plumbing issues were taken care of. I can't believe the great lengths that Gareth went through for this sale. The whole time I felt as if I were Gareth's only client. I thought I would be making numerous trips to NJ to take care of matters, but I didn't have to make one! What I thought would be a stressful and difficult process, Gareth made seamless. Gareth's expertise, enthusiasm, motivation and compassion are second to none!
