Karin was an incredible realtor! Extremely knowledgeable and a strong advocate for her clients. She is very knowledgeable about Florida rules and home-buying process which was so extremely helpful. Her network of contacts in the area was so helpful in working out inspections needed, etc. - anything I needed! The most wonderful part is that I literally enjoyed spending time with her as we had some very funny moments! I feel so very lucky to have had her by my side during this process, and I learned a great deal from her.

We began working with Edgar and Melanie about 3 months before we actually took our first house hunting trip to FL. During our first call, we discussed our housing wants/needs and items that were very important to us. Edgar and Melanie understood our needs and started sending us listings in an effort to nail down what we were really looking for. Our feedback on these listings allowed them to really get to know us before we made our first trip down to begin house hunting in-person. In this crazy housing market, houses were coming on and off the market in a matter of hours. Edgar and Melanie prepared us for the craziness and let us know that they would be by our side throughout the entire buying process. During our first house hunting visit, we narrowed our focus to several areas, looked at many homes, and even made offers on some homes. Unfortunately, none of our offers made it to a signed contract as we we lost each home in a crazy bidding war. While we began to lose hope, Edgar and Melanie persisted and kept their feet on the gas to find us the perfect home. While we were back in IL, Edgar and Melanie took us on video tours of many houses and neighborhoods; working so hard to find us the "diamond in the rough." By expanding our search area, and keeping their eyes and ears open, Edgar and Melanie helped to find us the perfect home. We found a brand new home with plenty of space to meet our needs. Since we were in IL, Edgar and Melanie arranged to meet with the builder and to provide a video tour of the home that was partially constructed. Working with a builder allowed us to avoid any bidding wars. While we were in IL, Edgar and Melanie kept an eye on the construction process and were there for all of the major construction milestones and inspections. As we made visits to FL, to see the house under construction, Edgar and Melanie were by our side. Having them join us on our new home orientation was a great finale to our home buying process.

Edgar helped us find and purchase our new Florida home even though we were in Wisconsin at the time. When we found homes we were interested in, he set up tours immediately and then sent us detailed videos of the home and neighborhood, with great commentary about the condition and materials used in the home. Not being familiar with the area, Edgar's knowledge and references for services were very valuable and helpful for us.
