Aside from real estate, Rick spends his time with family and friends and enjoys traveling, boating, fishing, riding his motorcycle and attending/volunteering at Hope City Church. My goal is to work with as many good people as I can. I know that sounds a little bland, but I really believe working with good people makes my job easier and it's more fun for the client. Not every real estate agent is right for everyone. Certain personalities jive with different people. My goal when I'm working with someone is to earn their trust, respect, and business for life. If I can do that then I know I will be someone they refer to their friends and family. That is the ultimate goal, is to work with their network of people.
Specialties: I have over 22 years of experience in residential sales, investment properties, estate and trust sales, land, new construction, remodeling, pre-foreclosures (short sales), and am CRS, and GRI certified in my industry.
I am consistently in the top 15% of realtors in my area but am most proud of the people who refer me business on a consistent basis. To them, I am truly in debt and can't thank enough.
I became a Realtor at the beginning of 2015, after an 8-year career in Marketing and Advertising. Although I have just started selling, I am not new to the industry. My husband and I have purchased and managed investment properties for over 5 years. I am excited to help people with their home solutions - be it a "forever home." investment property or whatever the need. I may be new, but I am energetic and motivated to have a career in real estate!

Among the many focuses I have, my children's school and extra curricular activities take up much of my 'free' time. I am a graduate of the University of Northern IA and remain active in the Cedar Valley area.
I became a licensed Realtor in 2007. I was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa. I graduated from West High School in 1999.
I enjoy boating, spending time with my family and friends and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
I love working with buyers to find their Dream Home and helping them thru the whole process.

Rick is THE BEST !!
Rick has been the FAMILY RELATOR for over 30 years!!!! We all love him because goes above and beyond just selling a house. He offers his help in numerous ways....to many to mention here. In addition, to some of us it's important that he's a Christion.

Excellent!
Rick Bauer sold my mom's house in 3 wwwka! I flew in from CA, spent 2 days in Waterloo. The house was listed before I left with 38 interested viewers. I got a total of 6 very good offers and was very happy that the buyer selected was not an investor. Rick was professional, knowledgeable, trusrworthy and kind. Most importantly, he is a man of integrity! I highly recommend him!

Rick makes selling a smooth process
Don't try to sell your house by yourself. There is too much to keep track of and everything needs to be done in a timely manner.
