If I can do that then I know I will be someone they refer to their friends and family. That is the ultimate goal, is to work with their network of people.
Specialties: I have over 22 years of experience in residential sales, investment properties, estate and trust sales, land, new construction, remodeling, pre-foreclosures (short sales), and am CRS, and GRI certified in my industry.

Amazing agent!
Makayla made our process of selling our old house and buying our new one smooth and seamless. She responded to all of our questions quickly, regardless of the time and was able to better explain things we didn’t fully understand. I can’t thank her enough for all her time and energy she put into this process. I couldn’t recommend her more!

COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT HER!
I contemplated trying to sell my house without a realtor. I talked with Makayla openly about this and she never once pushed me to list with her. She even offered me some tips and pointers if I decided to do it myself. THANK GOODNESS I DECIDED TO LIST WITH HER! After getting into the whole process I just kept saying to her, "there is no way I could have handled any of this myself!" She was on top of all aspects of communication at ALL hours of the day. You will never have a delay in communication with this woman! I should also note that this was my first time selling a home, so she did wonders putting up with my nerves, anxiety and lack of knowledge throughout the entire process. I could tell when we got the offer we wanted she was genuinely excited and happy for me. Makayla is so selfless and goes above and beyond for every little thing. She is extremely knowledgeable about the market trends and home values in Des Moines and all of the surrounding areas. Lastly I just want to comment on how extremely friendly and easy she is to get along with, while also always being professional. I will trust her as my realtor for every house going forward and would absolutely recommend her to friends, family, and anyone else who wants a top-tier realtor!

Makayla was super helpful, patient & made our home-buying process super easy!!
We looked at houses for about 4 months before we found the perfect house- she was so patient with us! She was always able to coordinate with our schedule for showings and always knew everything about each property! She also made the process of selling our home go very smoothly- from lining up a photographer/all showings to a breezy closing! Highly recommend and will definitely be using her for any future purchases!

Kathy was professional, knowledgeable and dependable. She was quick to respond to our questions and truly did her homework to know our neighborhood, bringing us actual comps of sales activity in our area. Kathy also kept us informed as to activity in our home (showings and open house) and made the selling experience straightforward and pleasant.
