Sue McFarland was the best real estate agent for Commerce Township and more specifically Lake Sherwood neighborhood. She worked with us for 4 years as we attempted to figure out the type of home we wanted and the price range we could afford. She was patient and never gave up on us She consistently encouraged us and remained committed to finding us the right house…and she delivered! Nobody, and I mean nobody is more connected to Lake Sherwood real estate than Sue. She knows about listings before they came to the market and always contacted us so we were the first to see the home in a very hot, seller’s market. She provided her fair assessment on price and pros/cons of every listing to help us objectively look at each prospective home. This was extremely valuable to us as we built our knowledge of the housing market in the area. We could not have purchased our dream home without the help of Susan McFarland and her assistant Kathyrn. They arranged for us to be the FIRST to view our new home. This allowed us to get our offer in the same day and secure the agreement the next day. This was all done when the market was hot, with homes typically receiving multiple offers. Sue worked with the sellers to convince them that our offer was solid and we were the best buyers for the community and their lovely home. Sue seemed to work more as a friend than a real estate agent. She cared more about us and fulfilling our dream than completing a real estate transaction.
