I am a SW Virginia native, who loves mountain life. After many years in management and sales, I have found my true calling in real estate. It gives me the opportunity to meet people from around the globe and share my knowledge of this area. I get to watch new clients, fall in love, with these mountains, as I have. I strive to be thoughtful and efficient, when working with home buyers and sellers, to make the process understandable and comfortable. I have spent my entire life here in Southwest Virginia. From the tops of Whitetop and Clinch mountain to the valleys of Abingdon and Damascus, I enjoy leaving no door unopened and no stone unturned. When I'm not hiking a trail or playing in one of the many rivers and creeks, I am trying to find a new recipe using one of the many edible plants that grow native in the area. After years of working in a variety of jobs including small business consulting and healthcare insurance, I decided to take my love of the area and my passion for helping others to the next level by beginning my real estate career. Backed by the number one real estate team in the world, RE/MAX, I look forward to helping my clients find their slice of peace-on-Earth in this uniquely-beautiful countryside. First of all, I want to introduce myself. My name is Randy L Wampler and I am the owner of RE/MAX Cavaliers. My background is Vietnam-era veteran, medical field radiology, and what I truly love is Real Estate. The most important part to me is the customers/clients that I meet and forming long lasting relationship along the way. After the transaction is complete, we still remain great friends! I belong to the American Legion and am in association with several other military posts. There’s nothing more fulfilling than hosting our Veterans Cookout every year around Veterans Day. I made a decision to move to this area over 30 years ago. I cannot imagine picking a better place to raise our children and watch our grandchildren grow. I love spending time outdoors tending to the small farm we call home and exploring all the great things Southwest Virginia has to offer. I look forward to helping others realize their dream of living in paradise!!

I am a graduate of the University of Virginia's College at Wise and a retired public school teacher. I have lived in this area all my life and love our mountains! I believe that our mountains have much to offer in the way of solitude and peaceful surroundings as well as an adventurous lifestyle hiking, 4-wheeling, canoeing, etc. Come explore the hidden treasures of these mountain, I want to share them with you! ~Yvonne
