Coincidentally, we stayed in an Airbnb owned by Robert. His card was displayed on the table. As owning our own Airbnb has always been a dream of ours, we spontaneously emailed Robert to gain knowledge of the Beaufort market. Little did we know at the time, we couldn't have stumbled upon a more KNOWLEDGABLE and PROFESSIONAL realtor! Robert immediately responded and set up a Zoom call. Through every process in finding a home for a short-term rental in Beaufort, Robert demonstrated exemplary professionalism and supreme knowledge of the area and restrictions in place not only in Beaufort but all the surrounding areas, including all the neighborhoods in Beaufort County and Port Royal, guiding us through the maze of governmental limitations on STRs in that area. Robert's knowledge of the city's STR plan and restrictions even led us to avoid a VERY costly mistake of buying an STR without the ability to obtain a permit with the city, a mistake that could have been debilitating to our dream. Once we found that special home, Robert went to work on the negotiations as if it was his own property. His skills in advocating for us led us to buying that home much under the original listing price, saving us money!! BUT!! Robert didn't stop with just the sale and closing of the home; he's been instrumental in guiding us through initial steps of owning that Airbnb and certain issues to be cognizant of in the coastal area. We are incredibly grateful for Robert and his continued diligence in not only finding us a home, but guiding us through the process of actually getting up and running in that Airbnb. We are sure looking forward to many more transactions together!!!

We found Robert from a Google search. We wanted a Bluffton-based local broker rather than a nationwide brokerage chain, and his online reviews were very good. Robert responded immediately after we reached out and we set time for a call. Starting from that call and continuing with our first visit to Bluffton, Robert’s expertise and knowledge of the area were evident. He provided an extremely thorough explanation of the Bluffton area. He took us on a tour of various communities where we got to see the differences. From there, we were able to narrow down our search. When we found a house we liked on our third visit, Robert was very helpful with the offer process all the way through to closing. All along, he was always available to answer any and all questions we had. I would definitely use Robert again and wholeheartedly recommend him.

This is the 2nd time I’ve worked with Robert and when the need arises again, I will definitely reach out to him for his expertise. He cares about his clients and wants to make sure it is a good fit. He works diligently to quickly set up showings when a house becomes available, even before it hits the market at times. We even had a scenario where he took video of a new properly so I didn’t have to miss more work to run to a home that wouldn’t meet our needs. He also isn’t afraid to share any concerns he has just to make a sale, and will keep looking for the right home! His understanding of the market combined with years of historical events in the area are invaluable. We even had a scenario this time where there was something on the inspection not fixed properly. We were out of state buyers from Michigan and anticipated having to fly down to pick out our forever home. We ended up feeling so confident after working with Yuri that we bought our forever house sight unseen!  For starters, Yuri makes you feel like you are his only client and are on his mind at all times. His communication is exceptional and we received more check ins than we can count-even just to make sure we were feeling okay throughout the process. He was always at least three steps ahead of us. If we called to say we were interested in a house, he already had a walkthrough scheduled in anticipation that we could be interested, had already talked to the realtor for additional information on the property, and would have a plan in place to film all details and send to us same day in a very organized email format.  Yuri walked through and recorded more properties for us than we can count. It was very clear that he had walked through and educated himself fully on each property before filming it for us. The films were SO detail oriented. He even filmed the drive off of main roads and into the different neighborhoods to give us a better idea of the different communities and the local feel. The same day he did walk through we would receive the videos of community spaces, the property, and details about various HOA fees in the different communities.  Yuri sent us a property that we didn’t feel interested in from the photos and he still had an inkling that we might like it so he went to see it anyways. This ended up being our favorite house and the house we ended up purchasing! I could truly go on about Yuri forever and can’t recommend him enough! For the first time my wife and I left a real estate transaction feeling that the commission wasn’t enough for all that he did for us. Yuri never felt like he worked for us and always felt like a friend or a family member who truly had our best interest at heart. Forever grateful that we found him.
