Volunteerism is a vital part of Darlene's life. Most recently, she has given a lot of her time to support the research to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis, an effort her whole family supports. She is also active on the Board of Directors at the Mooresville Area Bible Teachers Association which funds the teaching of Bible History at Mooresville High School. I was fortunate enough to begin my career in real estate as an assistant to one of our firm’s top-producing associates, Nancy Hucks. With her support and guidance, I became inspired to obtain my license to further my knowledge of real estate. Prior to my real estate career, it was my husband’s job in NASCAR that brought us to settle in the alluring Lake Norman area. At the time, I was working in the healthcare field as a neonatal/pediatric respiratory therapist. However, after 12 years, I left the healthcare field to focus on our family and raise our two daughters, Ashlyn and Emma.
