Kate Johnston is fantastic!

Kate has assisted me in selling, buying, buying again, and then selling again! Most recently she helped me prepare and list my home for sale, and I honestly don't know how I could have done it without her and her team! She is a wealth of knowledge, and has so many connections with people, such that any referral you may need, Kate will know somebody! We listed my home in February, and within two weeks had a very respectable offer! Here I am thinking that this is going to be a smooth and easy sale, but to my disappointment, the buyer faced some challenges and had to back out. Kate was wonderfully calming, and reasurring, and helped me to relax. I trusted Kate's expertise, and knowledge of the process, which made it easier to find the patience to wait for another buyer. It took a little longer than I hoped, but another offer did come in, and after some negotiations, we settled on a mutually agreeable price. The inspection went smoothly, and then came the appraisal. Poor Kate had to be the one to call me to tell me that the appraisal came in low! UGH!! Back to the negotiating table we went, and with a lot of discussion, and research on our own of comparable sales, Kate was able to present the buyers with a convincing argument for why we felt the price we had agreed upon was fair, and ultimately we sold for that price. Without Kate and her team, I think the process would have been significantly more stressful! I find it hard to imagine working with anyone other than Kate, and I would never hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. I cannot fathom that there is another agent out there that goes above and beyond the way that Kate does.
