Kim was excellent to work with. When she made an appointment, she was on time and ready to proceed, she answered our numerous questions with patience and understanding, several times. She was not afraid to give direct answers to direct questions, she gave ideas and 'hint's' on how to improve the look of our home, and she even assisted in replacing our smoke detectors, which was one less item to worry about. She was honest when we told her what we would like to sell for, we were right on the 'money' for asking price, and she was able to increase the amount slightly, which was good for both parties involved. She was able to arrange the sale of the house the day after we moved out of the house and state, which was a huge stress issue for my wife and me. She walked us through the e-signing process, which is not as easy as it seems, she explained the sale process to include all figures to us and how the utilities would transfer to the new owner and the land title. Joel was one of three realtors I interviewed. His enthusiasm for the job was what sold me right away. He was knowledgeable about the area market and realistic in his recommendations. Since I was at a distance, he and his team handled a fair amount of the preparation coordination. When it came time to sell, he was able to negotiate a sale price 4 percent over asking. That may not sound like much, but it covered almost all of his commission. The house was on the market for 3 days (one long weekend) and the winning bid was the first one we received on the first day. A very comfortable position to be in. After we went under contract, his team kept us well informed and explained everything as we went along. They also were very responsive to my questions. Cori (One of the team members) sent a "touch-base" email every Friday. Settlement went as smoothly as I have ever been involved with. Joel and his team come VERY highly recommended.
