•I've often heard that real estate agents have to wear many hats. Well, for the recent sale of my mother's house in South Carolina, Carol Rutgers proved the truth of this phrase by wearing them all. This was a very difficult sale for my mother due to the passing of her husband of 61 years. But because of Carol's business acumen, personal guidance, support, and genuine care, my mother sold her home for a great price and the process went smoothly. Her business acumen is firmly established, but I would like to share a couple of things that illustrate Carol's commitment to her clients. For example, because my mother was unable to be at the house for extended periods of time Carol went above and beyond in keeping the house in perfect condition so it was always ready to be shown to prospective buyers. Not just clean, but maintained. If Carol noticed anything that required repairs or maintenance she was quick to schedule and meet workers, and make sure that the work was fully completed. Another example of her commitment to her clients occurred when our original movers informed us that they were no longer capable of moving my mother's possessions less than 48 hours before the scheduled move. Carol worked her magic, used her abundant resources, and found a reputable mover that completed the move so that the closing happened on schedule. Such dedication is rare and something we have not seen in past real estate transactions. It is clear that Carol cares for the clients she represents and not just the sale of the property. There are many more examples of Carol's dedication, but I am limited by the number of characters in this review. We would finally like to point out that Carol has an uncanny ability to deal with stressful situations in an incredibly diplomatic way and always left us feeling seen, heard, understood and satisfied. We can never thank Carol enough for what she has done to help our family.
