We were fortunate to have Cherry Norris help us sell my mother’s house this Spring, 2020. We live out of state and so were very dependent on good service and communication. Cherry was quick to answer texts and emails and phone calls. This was so comforting and helpful in getting changes made on a timely basis.
Even though she was a new agent, she knew the going prices and what buyers were looking for in the area.
She made good suggestions for making improvements and even researched items from which we could choose. Cherry communicated with pictures from Lowes and Home Depot. She helped us get the house painted, new flooring, countertop and a ceiling light and fan installed and her team did some light landscaping.
The timing of the sale was especially stressful and trying for all of us during the COVID-19 shutdown of states. We planned to drive down to move belongings out and help clean it out. Cherry went above and beyond what one would expect. She and her team cleaned out and prepared the house for the new buyers. Cherry herself packed many items we asked her to save for our family. Her team then delivered three loads of items to charity and move our saved ones to a storage unit.
I’m sure it was challenging and frustrating for her at times since we could not come to help with the house and with the amount of work to be done, but Cherry was always upbeat, pleasant, positive and patient during the entire time getting the house ready to sell, the showing and sale.
The appraisal came through much less than we expected which made the final sale price lower than we hoped.
We truly were blessed to have her help.
